The contractor will be required to work in Services Australia's Canberra office for first 6 weeks before a hybrid flexible working arrangement will be considered. Maximum hours 40 hours per week About the Role: SoftLabs is seeking EL1 Senior Angular and Nginx Infrastructure Engineer for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in ACT. Job Details Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. Infrastructure Engineer – Nginx Key duties and responsibilities Infrastructure Setup and Migration: Design, configure, and optimize infrastructure Angular Ngnix components required for PPC migration. Deploy and maintain systems using Angular Nginx Node.js, ensuring scalability and reliability. Support the integration and deployment of applications developed in Angular Nginx Node.js. Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to migrate Angular applications using Python scripting and GitLab (DevOps) Project Delivery: Ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with internal teams to provide detailed documentation, training sessions and mentoring to ensure a seamless handover and knowledge transfer. Performance Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring the infrastructure supports the application effectively post-migration. Security and Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure configurations and deployments adhere to organizational security standards and compliance requirements. Technical Skills Angular, Nginx, NodeJS, Python, Ansible, Gitlab. Angular 18 on NodeJS version 20 experience, Angular and Nginx. Essential Criteria Must have experience in installing, configuring, customising and maintaining Nginx server applications. Desirable Criteria Migration of Angular applications from Nginx servers to other platforms.
