Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. Infrastructure Engineer – Nginx Requirements Key duties and responsibilities Infrastructure Setup and Migration: • Design, configure, and optimize infrastructure Angular Ngnix components required for PPC migration. • Deploy and maintain systems using Angular Nginx Node.js, ensuring scalability and reliability. • Support the integration and deployment of applications developed in Angular Nginx Node.js. • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to migrate Angular applications using Python scripting and GitLab (DevOps) Project Delivery: ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with internal teams to provide detailed documentation, training sessions and mentoring to ensure a seamless handover and knowledge transfer. Performance Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring the infrastructure supports the application effectively post-migration. Security and Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure configurations and deployments adhere to organizational security standards and compliance requirements. Technical skills Angular, Nginx, NodeJS, Python, Ansible, Gitlab. Angular 18 on NodeJS version 20 experience, Angular and Nginx. The services required will enable the agency to supplement its existing ICT and digital workforce to ensure a high quality of technology and digital development for the Buyer with the flexibility to ramp resourcing up and down as needs require. Engaging a flexible ICT workforce will enable the Buyer to augment its requirements for the major work programs being undertaken. Criteria The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters. Essential criteria 1. Must have experience in installing, configuring, customising and maintaining Nginx server applications. Desirable criteria 1. Migration of Angular applications from Nginx servers to other platforms. Additional requirements 1. Does the candidate have the required security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain? 2. To identify potential conflicts of interest, is the candidate a director/owner/account manager/partner of a Seller registered on BuyICT? If so, provide the Position Title, Seller Name and Seller ABN. 3. Seller has obtained the Candidate’s consent to be exclusively represented by the Seller for this RFQ. (Note: The Buyer does not want the same candidate submitted by multiple Sellers). 4. Provide 2 referee details for candidate (name and contact details) who can confirm the candidate’s skills/knowledge to fulfill this role. Referees can be a previous manager (within the last 4 years).
