We are actively recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for the rail sector. As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role to define and validate the detailed manufacturing processes, define industrial master data, and drive continuous improvement activities. Description Reporting directly to the Product Industrialisation Manager, you will be directly supporting production for the serial build light rail vehicle. Job Responsibilities: Define and validate detailed manufacturing processes for a new product, considering industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints. Create industrial documentation for the project. Define Industrial Master Data and set the manufacturing Method Time. Profile Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline OR Tafe Qualification in Fabrication/ Boiler making. Certification in welding engineering (eg. AS 17868G GMAW welding, AS 2214 welding supervisor, IWS- international welding inspector, or similar) Highly Preferable. Proficiency in CAD software, Catia and Autocad. Experience with Visio, SAP is highly desirable. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Effective communications skills, bother written and verbal. Job Offer Immediate start, 6 months contract role. Pay rate depending on skills and experience: $62.75- $77.99/hr plus super. Work closer to home - Dandenong location.
