Hadoop Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

We are currently seeking a skilled Hadoop Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Hadoop infrastructure for our clients. Requirements Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, and HBase. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and data architectures. Knowledge of distributed file systems and storage technologies such as HDFS, S3, or Azure Blob Storage. Experience with data ingestion, data processing, and data transformation. Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
