You will be working alongside an established team of high performing engineers, where you will be involved in the development and enhancement of the technologies and platforms used in the credit rating process of their institutional and wholesale customers. This will be a varied role, where you will apply your expertise in Java and working knowledge of SQL to help streamline the banks processes, using the latest technologies. The role will be split into two core activities Work on migrating the on prem key credit database to the new Microsoft SQL server using AWS capability. Developing a modern platform in Java to improve the efficiency of the upstream and downstream areas of the business. You will have Expertise in Java (11) Strong database experience utilising SQL Cloud experience (AWS preferable) Strong experience with API - RESTful/Microservices.
