Our client, are hiring for a highly capable DevOps Engineer to join on a consulting piece of work for a Telco client. This role suits a highly experienced candidate with a minimum of 5-10 years experience. Role Title: DevOps Engineer Contract Length: 6 month initial contract. Pay: $860 Super per day. Location: Sydney CBD/ WFH Hybrid. Key Accountabilities: Manage and Deployment Infrastructure on EKS. IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform and Ansible. Analyse business requirements, business processes, and technical architectures and designs. Define Testing methods and advise on best fit solutions and technique. Verify system performance and ensure formal sign off and documentation of successful integration. Assist in the construction and implementation aspects of delivery. Key knowledge & experience: Experience with containerisation(docker) and container orchestration technologies, especially Amazon EKS (or Kubernetes in general). Strong experience with deploying and developing complex infrastructure via automation tools such as CDK, Terraform and CloudFormation. Hands on Experience with AWS R53, RDS, LB and Autoscaling. Jenkins upgrade and patching experience. SonarQube Administration. CICD Implementation Knowledge. Good with Groovy Scripting, Java, Python and Bash scripting. Additional Desirable skills: Automated Infrastructure Validation and Testing. AWS Networking Knowledge. GitHub Administration.
