Our client, are hiring for a highly capable DevOps Engineer to join on a consulting piece of work for a Telco client. This role suits a highly experienced candidate with a minimum of 7-10 years experience. Role Title: DevOps Engineer Contract Length: 6 month initial contract. Pay: $760 Super per day. Location: Sydney CBD/ WFH Hybrid. Key Accountabilities: Work on automation, processes, frameworks to support the software development life cycle, processes, and tools - from coding to development to maintenance and updates. This role requires good communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner. Analyse business requirements, business processes, and technical architectures and designs Define Testing methods and advise on best fit solutions and technique Key knowledge & experience: Holistic understanding of CICD concepts & workflows. Proficiency with Pipelines as Code preferably Jenkins. Knowledge to develop CICD pipelines as shared Libraries for Jenkins. Extensive to understand and write Groovy functions, Python and Bash scripting. Knowledge of writing IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible for Public (AWS)/Private Cloud. Experience in Troubleshooting issues with Jenkins pipelines. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used EKS is a plus. Multiple CICD Implementation knowledge. Good understanding on Branching Strategy. Working knowledge of core AWS Services (EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, LB, R53 etc ). Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills with ability to explain complex ideas and solve problems.
