We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, reporting directly to the Electrical & Instrumentation Discipline Manager to join our E&I team based in Perth. About the Job As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Technip Energies Australia, you will have an opportunity to work on both onshore and offshore projects. Potential projects include brownfields engineering for Prelude FLNG, other brownfields engineering projects or design for new project developments. New developments may cover processes such as gas processing, carbon capture and storage, carbon free energy (Eg. Green hydrogen) and sustainable chemistry. You may be required to provide design engineering support to projects which are at any stage, from concept to execute phases. Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Providing detailed and rigorous Electrical engineering support to projects, as necessary, to meet project objectives Providing technical support as a focal point for electrical engineering expertise on a project Independently generate engineering deliverables to meet project, statutory and Technip Energies Group rules to project schedule Review engineering deliverables Be effective, efficient, and fit for purpose in the delivery of solutions and documents. Liaise with Principal Draftsperson on drafting resource requirements for projects. Instruct Drafting Team on engineering drafting requirements for projects Responsible for key interfacing with other engineering disciplines Participate in formal or informal reporting to Discipline Lead on progress of engineering tasks, budget and schedule progress, lessons learnt and resources Attend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to relevant discipline engineering Undertaking the role of Lead Engineer, as necessary, for relevant projects' discipline engineering scope of work As required by tenders, prepare appropriate content and lean man hours estimates to support tender submissions You are expected to be competent in the specification and design of the following electrical equipment: High, Medium, and Low voltage switchgear UPS systems Transformers Electrical monitoring and control systems Distribution boards Lighting We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people. About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: University Degree in Engineering; Electrical recognised by Engineers Australia Previous senior engineering experience in Electrical preferably within an EPC Company Greenfield /Brownfield project design experience in Oil & Gas offshore /onshore facilities Demonstrated competency in EEHA to plan and design electrical installations, according to AS/NZS 4761, from an RTO within the last 5 years (required); Experience of producing broad range of technical deliverables including calculations, drawings, simulations, and reports. local work rights in Australia Inclusion Standards In our continuous journey to developing and building culture of inclusion, we adhere to four Inclusion Gold Standards.
