We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to provide support for data & insights, analytics, and ML/AI across various business units and deliver Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, managing data, and ensuring its availability, reliability, and accessibility for data analysts, BI developers, and other digital solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive BI data modelling solutions, encompassing Power BI Datasets, Azure Synapse Data Models, deployment pipelines, and Power BI dashboards and reports. Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into technical specifications, such as conceptual and logical data models. Contribute to the design and structure of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources into Power BI. Create sophisticated enterprise data models using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and optimize performance for large-scale enterprise datasets. Implement BI data governance and security best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Work in collaboration with the data engineering and solution architect teams, as well as the broader IT team, to identify and address data quality issues and optimize BI platforms. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior BI Data Modeler, with a robust portfolio of successful Power BI projects, data modelling methodologies, and data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Experience as a Business Intelligence developer or Analytical engineer in the data warehousing space. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices. Ability to coach and help develop the skills of other team members. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, Power Automate, and Azure Synapse Analytics or similar. Advanced Power BI data modelling optimization skills using external tools such as DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, and solid experience with Azure Data & Analytics SaaS technology framework or similar.
