We are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer specialising in Big Data, who can deliver robust data pipeline solutions, manage data effectively, and ensure its availability, reliability, and accessibility for data analysts, BI developers, and other digital solutions. Your Responsibilities: Implement and deploy Cloud (ideally Azure) data solutions across the Microsoft platform. Design and create highly efficient data ingestion pipelines from various sources using Azure ADF or similar tools. Develop, maintain, and support scalable and reusable frameworks for data ingestion into Azure via ADF, enhancing access to business-relevant data. Contribute to the establishment of data modelling and design standards, best practices, and related development for enterprise Microsoft data models. Utilize Cloud DevOps skills and Azure Cloud offerings to develop, schedule, and deploy data sets, extracting, loading, and integrating technical and business data. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the data warehouse. Your Qualifications: Proven experience in data engineering within Azure cloud environments, including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks. Demonstrated experience as a software developer or data engineer in data warehousing. Certification in Microsoft Azure (ADF, Analytics) or similar. Ability to coach and develop others in data engineering practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Data & Analytics PaaS, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipeline, and CI/CD. Strong, advanced-level, hands-on experience in implementing solutions using SQL, including design, building, and optimization activities. Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases, SQL, as well as familiarity with related technologies such as Spark and Python. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data technologies: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Data Lake or similar products.
