About The Client Positive Lines is a growing Australian IT services company. Their comprehensive suite of IT services encompasses software development, cloud computing, cyber security, managed IT services, digital transformation, and more. They are seeking a full-time motive and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join their team. The role will require the candidate to provide the IT consulting services in relation to software, applications and system's integrating testing to their clients. Specific duties required of the candidate including but not limited to the followings: The Role This is a full time role with an annual salary between $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience plus superannuation. The role will be based in Parramatta, NSW. The Responsibilities Your tasks will consist of: Involving in every phase of software and system development process Developing programmes addressing client requirements Writing programme code using software design principles Investigating and resolving technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure security best practices Testing, debugging and correcting errors and faults in relation to software, application and system's design and development Researching and identifying testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks Analyzing software testing results and providing feedback and recommendations Developing software verification plans and quality assurance procedures of software Working with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and ensure software maintains the highest level of usability, User Experience, stability, and performance testing. Managing testing environment (software, tools, network, frameworks, servers etc) Developing, maintaining, updating and optimizing test procedures and methods to improve test efficiency and ensure the quality software is released The Requirements: To be considered for the position you must meet the following requirements: A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field At least 2 years' experience in software developing and testing At least 2 years' experience and proven proficiency in Splunk, CSS, HTML, Javascript and Bootstrap. At least 2 years' demonstrated awareness in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure and GCP. Solid understanding of software development principles and concepts Familiar with software development tools and environments Sound knowledge in software testing Strong teamwork skills Good Communication and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem- solving skills Attention to details Self- motivated with strong desire to learn and grow Great attitude and relentless dedication to quality
