The Role Join our role dynamic team as an Application DevOps Engineer, where you will contribute to shape the future of our technological landscape. Reporting directly to the DevOps Practice Lead, you will advise and participate in the support and development of core cloud services across the ES&O Application landscape. This is a permanent position in a newly created role, due to the growth in business requirements. Responsibilities & Duties Support a cloud-based LPG distribution application across multiple service providers. End to end participation in cloud-based application development and operations within ES&O. Delivery & maintenance of CI & CD application pipelines for various ES&O Technology delivery teams. Facilitation of cloud-based application monitoring solutions. Collaboration with the developers to ensure applications meet operational standards. Design and implementation of best practice patterns and architecture for cloud-based services. Communicate and work effectively with colleagues and customers, understanding key stakeholders by being responsive to their needs and impacts to their business. Learning about and gathering new technologies and related tools to introduce to the company to grow the agile DevOps environment. About you 3 years in a DevOps engineering role working in the AWS environment. 5 years in a system engineer / application support role. Cloud native, with acute understanding of Agile & DevOps models and methodologies for operational environments. Experience Coding and/or Scripting in various languages (Bash, Powershell, Python, .Net). Automation of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using available tooling (Team City, GitHub Actions). Experience with cloud-based monitoring and logging tools (Cloudwatch, ELK, Pager Duty). A comprehensive understanding of Source Control (Git). Cloud Infrastructure as code experience with AWS Cloud Formation (Troposphere, Terraform). Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to articulate technical information to non-technical people. Origin - Where good change happens.
