The Client HTC Global Services is a global provider of Information Technology and Business Process Services (BPS). Their client base spans several Global 2000 organizations in Australia and globally. They are now seeking to employ a qualified and experienced DATS Engineer to join the team in Melbourne. The Role This is a full-time role with an annual salary set between $80,000 to $105,000 plus superannuation. The Responsibilities Lead for a subset of Driver Assistance Technology features testing Ensure common standards and test methods are applied and applicable to T6 program Sign-off vehicle level of Driver Assistance Technologies for the region Support data collection for regional requirements for Driver Assistance Technologies Act as SPOC for program issues, support VPAT and VETR reviews Maintain and report out program status report Organise test facilities and recommend validation test methods. Follow OH&S guidelines and practices. Some of the DAT feature included are; AEB V2V, AEB Pedestrian, AEB Camera only, Parking Aid Systems, FCW/PCA, ACC, LKS, AHBC, DAS; BLIS (BLIS, CTA, BTT); KPI's: Prepare weekly report and present to Lead DAT feature Engineer Set up of detailed project plans, maintained up to date, taking initiative to remove roadblocks. Driver Assistance Technology Engineering Support: Issue resolution with respect to DAT Facilitate training of engineers to ensure competencies are up to date with latest technology Implement relevant New Technology in the field if required The Requirements Any Engineering degree Minimum 2 years previous experience or more in a similar role Must have at least relevant experience in these software: AEB V2V, AEB Pedestrian, AEB Camera only, Parking Aid Systems, FCW/PCA, ACC, LKS, AHBC, DAS; BLIS (BLIS, CTA, BTT) Strong communication and organisational skills Possess critical and analytical thinking skills
