Talenza Cyber have partnered with a state government regulatory body to find a Security Engineer for Cyber Uplift program focussed on DLP, CTI and SOAR. Our client it embarking on an exciting journey to enhance its cyber capabilities, aligning with the organization's risk appetite and the ever-evolving threat landscape. Join them in the next phase of their Cyber Security Program, where they aim to fortify their cyber posture and proactively identify, manage, and respond to internal and external threats. The client prefer hybrid working and once settled into the role would be happy with 1-2 days a week in the office. Key Workstreams for FY24: Data Protection: Shape their data map and catalog, guiding high-level solution designs for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB). Threat Intelligence: Drive the implementation of a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) supporting the full threat intelligence lifecycle, including curation, workflow, visualization, and dissemination. Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR): Lead the automation shift, minimizing human-centered triage for low-fidelity alerts, focusing on threat hunting, and prioritizing high-fidelity response. Cyber Security Management System: Develop and deliver a comprehensive security management system. The Responsibilities As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with the Cyber Security Operations & Cyber Program teams, contributing your expertise in the delivery (install & configuration) of TIP, DLP, CASB, and SOAR platforms. Your role will also involve leveraging contemporary knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Defender suite, Intune, AWS Security Lake, native integration with Azure Sentinel, SASE platforms, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Data Dog. The Requirements Experience in the delivery of TIP, DLP, CASB, and/or SOAR platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Defender suite, Intune, AWS Security Lake, Azure Sentinel, SASE platforms, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Data Dog. Previous experience using KQL, PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
