The Duty Planner Engineering will be responsible for supporting the effective and comprehensive utilisation of the Trax Planning Module in combination with COMPASS Flight Scheduling program. Working across multiple departments within QantasLink including Engineering, Operations Control, Scheduling and many others. Your stakeholder management and relationship building skills will be tested in this highly dynamic environment. In addition, you will interact closely with Maintenance Watch Engineers, Airworthiness Planning Department, Regional Operations Centres and other stakeholders with the scheduling of aircraft maintenance in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program and Civil Aviation Regulations as maintained in the Trax Maintenance system. You have the key responsibility of maintaining compliance and airworthiness for the Dash8 fleet. The successful candidate will have: Aircraft Trade / Bachelor's degree (technical/engineering), preferable but not essential. Good communication and negotiation skills The ability to deliver required outcomes Manage multiple scenarios and problem-solve for operational issues Technical ability to assess maintenance requirements Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Commitment to a collaborative approach Drive change and make a real impact Support the use of Trax Planning Module and COMPASS Flight Scheduling program Collaborate with various departments like Engineering, Operations Control, and Scheduling Learning and growing with Maintenance Watch Engineers, Airworthiness Planning, and Regional Operations Ensure compliance and airworthiness for the Dash8 fleet Why Qantas?
