Job Expectations A fantastic opportunity at nbn, as a Senior Network Engineer, reporting to the Senior Manager - Technology Integration - HFC & Fixed Wireless. A bit about your role Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for successfully implementing Network Integration augmentation and migration activities within the accountability of the TSI Technology Integration - HFC & Fixed Wireless Team. This role has a major focus on implementing activities, acting as an escalation point for integration engineers implementing activities within the shift, and ensuring appropriate handover of activities between shifts. Implementation activities in HFC & Fixed Wireless access domains are planned 24x7, and it involves working in a rolling shift-based rostered environment. This position requires domain level experience of all HFC & Fixed Wireless products, technologies, and OSS systems across Fixed Wireless access networks and high-level understanding of EAN/ANE Core aggregation networks. These activities are RAN, TX upgrades and SWR integration, Firmware upgrades activities within Fixed Wireless access, and Node Migrations, Node Splits, Spectrum upgrades, USAT, CMTS FW upgrades, PMUS and NME activities, DAA upgrades etc within HFC access network. Activities are predominantly service affecting and requires proper management of integration activities on the day to ensure no adverse impact to programs and customer services. A bit about you This role requires the applicant to have Coordination and deployment of Fixed Wireless site expansion activities within RAN & TX domains, spectrum augments, node splits, node migrations, USAT, lifecycle upgrades, optimisation works etc within HFC network. Along with Planned Change (integration activities across HFC and FW) works within the shift are complete successfully. Ensure integration engineers get all the support required within the shift to successfully complete works. Escalation support to engineers where required. .
