Here, what you do matters. Job Overview: Perform detailed design calculations and analyses of offshore permanent oil & gas structures. Perform structural design calculations and analyses to support offshore construction campaigns. Preparation and self-checking of design reports, MTOs and procedures. Clearly communicate and explain information in straightforward engineering activities. Assume responsibility for technical reports, design calculations, engineering analysis and interface with third parties including subcontractors and verification bodies. Required to attend and prepare for project progress meetings and departmental meetings. Essential Qualifications and Education: 3 years' experience in oil & gas industry with 1 years' experience in the field of structural design and construction Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural or Mechanical). Preferred Qualifications and Education: Familiar with key structural engineering principles for the design of both permanent structures and support of offshore construction campaigns. Competent in producing manual calculations, computer analysis and code checking in accordance with industry standard requirements. Demonstrates strong report writing & communication skills. Good organization and communication skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet project deadlines. LI-LJ1 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Adhere to the safety and legal objectives of the company. Training and mentoring of graduates and junior engineers. Support in the development of knowledge in the area of design and analysis related to structural engineering. Understand client requirements and develop solutions to address them, satisfying necessary codes and specifications. Take personal responsibility for design, analysis and technical documentation. Liaise with operational engineer to support project engineering and be available for site visits and offshore trips when necessary.
