Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA)…Your chance to work with the best Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. About the Role Our Systems Engineering and Assurance team provide technical oversight and assurance to ensure Cross River Rail Systems are built, operationalised and handed over at the performance standards required for successful integration into rail network. The RAMS Engineer plays an integral role in this process being responsible for ensuring all processes and activities to assure, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety are completed for critical systems as per requirements and safety legislation. The positoin will involve extensive review of systems related documentation and collaboration with project stakeholders. This is a rare opportunity for a RAMS experienced engineer to gain client-side experience on a QLD's largest transport infrastructure project assuring systems and technologies new to Australia. You will enjoy working from our modern corporate head office in the heart of Brisbane's CBD with work from home flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Review contract deliverables for compliance with RAMS targets. Attend stakeholder meetings to interpret and clarify RAMS requirements. Provide advice on contract RAMS obligations to project and commercial teams. Facilitate collaboration between Queensland Rail and suppliers for achieving RAMS outcomes. Support the Integration Delivery Team in resolution of interface requirements relating to RAMS Review of change requests for assessment of any potential RAMS impact. Assist in the preparation of papers to brief management on RAMS matters. Review supplier variation, departure and derogation requests and supporting change processes. About You: Relevant engineering degree. CPEng or equivalent highly regarded. Rail domain engineering knowledge in RAM techniques and methods. Rail domain knowledge in preparation of safety assurance arguments and safety cases preparation. Knowledge of rail regulation obligations in Australia or similar safety regulatory environments. Experience in the application of EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129 Working knowledge of Systems Engineering (ISO 15288, SEI standards, or INCOSE Handbook).
