You will be joining the the Delivery unit that manages the development and construction phases of road infrastructure projects within the South Coast Region. About You The ideal candidate will have a solid background (more than 10 years) within civil construction; Ideally you will be a Registered Professional of Queensland (RPEQ); You will have extensive experience in liaising between key stakeholders (both internally and externally); and You will also have a strong background in managing high performing project teams, negotiating contracts, managing front end design and a strong understanding of the financial/commercial aspects of projects. About the Role Responsible for working as both a Project Manager and Contract Administrator to ensure the department achieves quality and cost-effectiveness; Work with graduates, engineers, and technical staff in resolving project-related technical challenges and guiding them toward delivering programs within specified timelines and budgetary constraints; Oversee preliminary investigations such as survey and geotechnical work, manage design tender processes, and oversee the evolution from concept design to detailed design and the tendering process; Hourly rate from $62 to $78 super - depending on experience; 12 months contract; and Based North Gold Coast.
