Senior Process Engineer — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne

IPS is a pioneer in the application of single-source, integrated EPCMV for technically complex facilities. We have developed, implemented, and refined a lean integrated project delivery model that addresses the entire project life cycle. We are looking for a talented Senior Process Engineer to join our small but mighty industry-leading team in Melbourne, Australia. This is a full-time hybrid permanent role. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design and implement manufacturing processes and supporting utilities on a scale that can range from developmental pilot plant to full commercial production. You'll also have the chance to use your great communication skills and technical expertise to mentor other team members, while also learning from those around you. You'll assume design leadership for projects from concept design till procurement. You will be part of a team of Engineers that will be producing the deliverables, such us: estimation of utility requirements for new manufacturing processes, design utilities generation and distribution systems and performing engineering studies for expanding, improving or automating existing facilities with limited supervision. You will assume ownership of the process-related aspects of a portion of a large project or an entire small project, and provide technical support to the design teams. Last, but not least you'll establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and members of the IPS design team, and using your technical expertise you will assist in the education and development of design staff and act as a resource for design questions. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering. At least 7-10 years of engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. Knowledge of cGMP's as they affect process design and equipment specification. Preferred Qualifications Chartered Professional Engineer designation in Australia.
