Job Expectations We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Senior Development Engineer Anaplan reporting to Executive Manager, FP&R Systems. A bit about your role The role of the Senior Development Engineer is an essential part of the Financial Planning & Analysis Systems team and will deliver planning & forecasting solutions for the Commercial Finance community. It is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Anaplan models and providing technical platform support to model owners and end users. This includes new model delivery, existing model change & enhancement, UX design & publication, calculation troubleshooting and model optimisation. The role is also accountable for implementing data integration and scheduling pipelines with source systems and performing other system administration tasks, together with providing end user training and support and compiling comprehensive system documentation. A bit about you The successful candidate will possess a strong background and experience in Anaplan or other planning and modelling applications, and a thorough understanding of how to build and maintain advanced models on the Anaplan platform. They will be competent in model metadata & data management and model optimisation and can design and creating efficient data integrations with a variety of sources using multiple system technologies. They will also be well versed in developing complex financial and operational models and analytics and have a proven track record in successful delivery of multi-user planning and analysis models. The Ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders to drive the successful design, development, and delivery of system solutions. This includes the ability to negotiate minimum viable product design to achieve delivery timelines and an ability to convey and explain complex modelling techniques and requirements in a simple, end-user friendly manner.
