New opportunity for a mid-level automation engineer with skills in Java, Cucumber and BDD. Working in a permanent role for a busy and established FinTech organization, the successful person will be working within an agile team on two business critical applications, focusing on data announcements and integration. To be a success in this role you will have experience in API testing, specifically around messaging, protocols and/or distribution. This is not a senior role, but it does require a level of skill and knowledge around the following areas of test automation: Test design and analysis of functional and non-functional specifications, requirements and solution architecture. Execution, investigation and maintenance of existing automated test cases. Design & execute robust test scenarios/test cases in line with wider business transformation strategy and planning. Interpreting and executing complex test scripts, analysing results and maintaining a defect register. Assist the Test Manager in test planning and specifying requirements for test environments, test data and tools. You will have proven skills with Java, cucumber and BDD frameworks as well as clear communications, written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
