The Role As the Engineering Manager/Head of Operations NSW at Ecogenica Pty Ltd, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all facets of operations and engineering related matters from manufacturing to installation of their products, making a significant contribution to the realization of a greener Australia. This is for a full-time position with an annual salary set between $230,000 to $240,000 plus superannuation. The position will be based in St Marys in NSW. Responsibilities Lead strategic initiatives across Product Development &Implementation, Marketing, Procurement, Planning, Supply Chain, Operations (Installation & Service) departments. Define, implement, and monitor operational and engineering strategies, policies, and plans Drive and execute a growth strategy, overseeing the recruitment process as the company expands Develop and deliver a growth strategy and hire people under you as the company grows. Identify local and international business opportunities to support overall business objectives Provide expertise in interpreting on product designs, drawings, and specifications, offering guidance on engineering methods and procedures for the products. Establish operational project schedules and budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective processes. Ensure adherence to product specifications, laws, regulations, and safety standards. Collaborate with the Sales & Finance Team to assist in wholesale customer delivery plans, proposals, and payment schedules. Enforce engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness, and performance. Supervise service inquiries and outcomes to optimize unit efficiency. Liaise with marketing, research, and manufacturing managers regarding engineering and operational aspects of product design. Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies in engineering and operational processes, implementing mitigation strategies. Enhance procurement, supply planning, and engineering practices for highly responsive and agile planning at minimum costs. Manage the international logistics chain, coordinating with multiple partners to ensure cost-effective operations Assist in the manufacturing planning of suppliers. Coordinate the shipping of goods into and out of the country. Define, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics engineering is a must. Preferably the candidate has Mechanical Engineering knowledge related to Heat Pump Technology 4 years of management experience managing engineering/operations. 3 years of management experience within Australia 2 years work experience in a Heat Pump/HWS related business 2 years of work experience with Renewable Energy and Efficiency Schemes in Australia. Overseas work experience is a bonus. A background in Construction and Building Market is a bonus. Extensive knowledge on budgeting and cost control. Logistical and supply chain experience is preferable. Preferably has experience in both VIC & NSW market familiar with the VBA and IPART Regulations Knowledge of CAD tools and be able to interpret the mechanical designs. Familiar with engineering QA processes and be able to read the lab reports of the products. Knowledge to interpret the basic coding to interpret the electronical components of our products to supervise the engineering/software designs. Exceptional time management skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, shape conversations, and change behaviours through effective relationship. Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain growth to achieve objectives for the organisation. Experience of all aspects of people management including capability development and performance management and support. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Valid driver's licence
