2 positions available The role As part of our Maritime group, the Senior Logistics/Reliability Engineer will be responsible for undertaking logistics engineering and obsolescence analysis activities in support of acquisition projects and sustainment tasks. The Logistics/Reliability Engineer will support the senior logistics engineers with logistics engineering task analysis for acquisition and sustainment projects. Further, the successful candidate will: Undertake or support logistics engineering for acquisition and sustainment projects, as follows: Obsolescence management and analysis Reliability, maintainability and availability modelling and analysis Failure mode, effects and criticality analysis Reliability centred maintenance analysis Level of repair analysis Maintenance task analysis Spares analysis PHS&T analysis Item Codification Liaise with the OEMs to identify, analyse and recommend corrective actions for equipment obsolescence problems, including development of costed corrective actions plans Review supplier and OEM generated ILS plans, logistic support data, technical manuals and other ILS documentation as required Assist in preparation of ILS documentation and plans Provide logistics engineering input into system engineering planning and HW design and implementation Support equipment maintenance manuals and training development Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role. About you Your skills and experience will include: Tertiary qualifications in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent on the job experience Experience in Defence industry and its logistics practices and standards Sound experience in logistics and reliability and maintainability (R&M) engineering COTS based logistics experience Experience in the application of relevant military and commercial logistics standards Experience in LSA and R&M analysis tools Experience in preparing ILS inputs to tenders Sound understanding of the development and the inter-relation between the various ILS elements As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
