If you're an Australian Citizen with a minimum NV2 level government security clearance, we want to hear from you Position Overview: This team is composed of security experts and innovative engineers providing world-leading solutions to exceptional technology challenges. As a Network Engineer, you will: Design and implement cutting-edge network-based security solutions. Contribute to security requirements and architecture. Identify and remediate communications and security issues. Duties and Responsibilities: Your role will encompass a range of exciting responsibilities, including: Supporting the implementation of remote and mobile secure communications. Designing and building secure gateways. Collaborating with experts to define secure solutions for platform interfaces. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving network and security issues. Implementing network components, including equipment procurement. Architecting, implementing, and maintaining network solutions for core infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's degree in technology, with a focus on network engineering. Network engineering experience in gateway environments. Strong Cisco experience and proficiency in implementing network architectures. Professional certifications (CCNP, JNCIE-ENT, Network, WCNA). Proficiency with infrastructure devices, including switches, routers, wireless access points, controllers, and firewalls. Expertise in designing, monitoring, and fault-finding local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN). An analytical mind and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Understanding of risk management and Australian Government information security requirements.
