Job Description Associate Director – Engineering and Assets This role is a national position, welcoming applicants from any city in Australia that hosts a KPMG office. Your Opportunity As a member of the SAP Practice in KPMG, the SAP Engineering and Assets Specialist will play a crucial role by: Being accountable for the overall design of the SAP Engineering and Assets and Customer Experience solutions for both business development and project delivery purposes. Delivering customer facing presentations and workshops and building excellent relationships with all stakeholders in a project and within KPMG and their team. Working with external clients to design the required SAP solution, inclusive of SAP modules/components, licenses, infrastructure etc. Developing the KPMG process roadmap for SAP functional areas aligned to SAP best practice processes, specifically related to future developments/platform changes. Leading the design reviews of functional configuration/builds during the Design/Explore phases of a delivery/sales cycle. Providing overall quality assurance for solution design of SAP systems for both business development and project delivery, specifically relating to Engineering and Assets Acting as the solution architect for SAP Engineering and Assets Facilitating client workshops and provide insights into both SAP Best Practice and Industry Best Practice. For those interested in joining our dynamic team, we are looking for candidates with the following abilities and experiences: Proficient in architecting and configuring SAP solutions, focusing on Engineering and Assets functional areas. Solid expertise in planning and delivering projects within at least two sectors such as Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Mining, or Chemical and Pharmaceuticals Involvement in a minimum of five comprehensive SAP project cycles from initiation to deployment, illustrating a robust track record of successful implementations. Ability to design, configure, and personalise SAP Asset Management including, but not limited to, Work Order management, Asset lifecycle, and strategic planning. Active involvement in data migration efforts, validating the integrated Plant Maintenance and Asset Management solutions, and delivering training to end-users. Familiarity with the interfaces of other SAP modules including Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), and Project Systems (PS) Proficient utilisation of SAP Activate methodology, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards and best practises throughout project life cycles Demonstrated leadership as a functional lead in extensive, multiyear client engagements or project rollouts While not mandatory, the following skills will significantly enhance your candidacy: Knowledge of the integration aspects with Demand Planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) as it pertains to inventory management.
