We are working with one of Australia's leading telecom providers, looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join their established team. You will be joining an agile squad of intelligent engineers, working on developing features that will impact millions of customers Leverage your Java-based development expertise as a foundation, with an opportunity to expand into AEM-based development (Adobe Experience Manager). Collaborate seamlessly with agile squads, project managers, architects, technical leads, and operations teams to deliver top-notch solutions that directly enhance customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy application code, contributing to the software development lifecycle. Learn and contribute to AEM-based feature development. Uphold high coding standards, ensuring exceptional performance and best practices. Manage smooth feature releases into production. Align feature development with strategic guidelines. Coach and mentor junior software engineers We are looking for Proficiency in core Java 8 and web technologies, including lambdas, streams, concurrency, and collections. Strong understanding of JVM, JDK, and crafting impeccable Java code. Commitment to writing testable code, familiarity with Java unit testing frameworks. Advocate for Code Quality using tools like SonarQube, and appreciation for code reviews, formatters, and automation. Familiarity with frontend technologies Effective technical writing and documentation skills. Experience with GIT/Stash version control. Agile environment experience. Exposure to Cloud platforms.
