We are currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Support Engineer to join our winning team. As an integral member of the Maintenance team your role will be to provide electrical engineering support to the Open-Cut mine and Coal Handling & Processing Plant. Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, a key focus of your role is to ensure the site operates in accordance with both internal and external regulations, standards, and guidelines as they relate to electrical installations, plant, and equipment. About The Role The requirements for this role include: Support and promote continuous improvement to the mines Electrical Infrastructure and mining fleet, including Komatsu 930E-5 Electric Drive Trucks, Electric Rope Shovel, Gas Drainage & Power Generation plants, Tailings Relocation & Water Management Systems, and Coal Handling & Preparation Plant. Will contribute to the compliance of the mine's Electrical Engineering Control Plan to relevant NSW WH&S legislation, applicable standards, and guidelines. Have a goal to attain a Practicing Certificate as an Electrical Engineer (of coal mines). Have a strong focus on innovation, to ensure enhancements to plant, procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity.
